Take a spin and check out our growing Connection! The frequently-changing map view reflects the growing Global Methodist Church around the world. By typing in or clicking on a country you can discover information about the people groups, languages, faith, and how to pray for the nation. Where a GMC Annual Conference has been established, contact information will be made available too. As GMC Missional Partners serving within a conference or nation are identified, these will be added to the country/conference pages to help you network for faithful, fruitful, missional engagement. We’re just getting started - this is a work in progress!
Are you eager to engage in mission? Is your congregation seeking recommendations for connection and partnership? Find GMC missional ministries, and strategic missional organizations from the wider Wesleyan family, that have been vetted and meet criteria to become recommended Missional Partners.
Collaborating with partners, your church can help bring the gospel of Jesus to those who are unreached, express compassion through mercy ministries, and engage in robust expressions of mission throughout the world.
Rather than building a large and expensive administrative hierarchy, the GMC is committed to advancing Christ’s Kingdom in ways that are consistent with good stewardship. Development of the Wesleyan Network for Global Missions (WNGM) will help us to both live out this commitment, as well as live into one of Methodism’s core values and strengths: Connectionalism.
As the WNGM becomes populated, opportunities for direct collaboration between local churches and trusted missional ministries and organizations will also grow. While building this global network of vetted missional partners may take time, our prayer is that it will contribute to the building of fruitful relationships, and will empower local congregations to be in mission.
