Session 2: What Does the Old Testament Say About Wealth?

Throughout the Old Testament, God provides us with instructions and illustrations on the role of wealth in the lives of his people. Christians must be careful not to neglect Old Testament teachings on possessions and prosperity as we develop our understanding of wealth. In this session of Secret Church 8, Pastor David Platt walks through the various ways in which the Old Testament provides wisdom on the purpose and function of wealth. Throughout this message, prosperity and possessions are discussed within the context of creation, the fall, the patriarchs, the exodus, the law, the kings, the psalms, wisdom literature, and the prophets.
