Methodists United in Prayer, Inc. (MUIP) exists to see Jesus Christ's glory displayed through the power of prayer and relationship between Cuban, Angolan, and U.S. Methodist churches. Formed in 1997 as the Cuba-Florida Covenant, we are now a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry that partners Cuban/Angolan Methodist churches with U.S. churches to help the gospel of Jesus Christ spread to every corner, and to transform churches and Christians in the U.S. We promote prayer, people exchange, provide food, medicine, facilitate sister church relationships, support pastoral families and churches, assist in planting house churches, and provide water filtration systems to help facilitate the stunning growth of the Methodist Church in Cuba (Iglesia Metodista en Cuba, IMECU) and in Angola.
